      Hi

The true variety of forensic science. Doing a forensic biology degree myself, I have not got to experience the other aspects such as chemical or physical analysis. You forget how wide a field forensics is, and how much information can be gained from a scene. They are all great, truly talented people.

      Hello again bones!

I have learnt loads, I already knew something about Niamh’s work and some thing about entomology that Kat does (although no where near their level!), but nothing about Jodie’s and Mark’s work, which is really fascinating.

I never thought about fatal car crashes and how you can deduce and puzzle out the causes of crashes until this week, great stuff it has been and highly informative for me.

      Hi Bones

As forensic scientists we always learn a lot from each other through talking and communicating with each other…. … so yes of course..learning lots

Hi Bones, just being in the room with real research scientists has been a privilege. I have a real interst in science, particularly the forensic side, for obvious reasons, but Kat’s fly and DNA work sounds fascinating, as does Jamie’s geophysical research. They are both operating at the front of forensic science, but in different aspects. The work of Niamh and Jodie are also good insights into science at work at the frontiers of their field.

Personally, I have learnt a lot from them. I’m not quite sure that it is reciprocated though!

      Mark.
