      IHello Bones,

It is difficult to think of that. I don’t like to have regrets, but I do think about my early thoughts about becoming a medical doctor. However, I am glad that I didn’t. I am not so sure that I would have made it, but I am sure that I wouldn’t be having as much fun as I do now, as a collision investigator.

Apart from athhletics, in which I was never fast enough, then there is nothing else that I would wish to do.

      Thanks.

      Mark.

      Hi Bones

I was quite interested in doing geology or archeology when I left school because I liked both history and geography as well as science. I’m quite glad how things have turned out though 🙂

      Hello again bones!

When I first graduated from University I did sedimentology as a research job, travelling around the world (paid!) looking at ancient river deposits. After a PhD, I then did lots of geotechnical research, looking where landfills were leaking, where mineshafts might be located, where buried pipes were etc., before moving to forensic science.

I guess you could say I am on my third job already! And I still do some sedimentology and geotechnical jobs – my role isnt exclusively forensics as I dont get called that often to searches.

I hope that was of interest.

      Hi

I have always trained, competed and coached acrobatics, so sports science was always interesting to me. I prefer however to do forensics as a career as I believe it is more important to society and more interesting.
