      hello evabell,

I have done some work on Saddleworth Moor, looking for Keith Bennett, who has been missing for 45 years now (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moors_murders).

I think most forensic geophysicists have worked there at some time, it’s really tricky, a small target in a huge search area, really tough problem to locate.

      Hi Evabell

I’ve been involved in a number of murder cases but I don’t think any would be regarded as famous… Unfortunately there are many murders that simply don’t make it to the news and we owe every victim our very best efforts to try to bring the offenders to justice

      Hi Eva Bell,

No, not a famous one. In the Sarah Payne murder, in Sussex, I drove the pursuit car after Roy Whiting until he gave himself up. Got to drive a Volvo down a flight of stairs!

Other than that, I am currently the collision investigator on a farmyard murder case, but that is ongoing, so I cannot say much more about it. However, vehicle glass fragments and refractive index testing has proved important to link scenes. Really interesting.

      Thanks for your question.

      Mark.
