      I have never made a great invention, but I am always making, or fabricating something in my workshop, for work, to make an aspect of my job a bit easier.

      Hello emilyh,

      Im not really much of an inventor Im afraid, I use existing equipment to imppove our knowledge of something, whether it be finding where mineshafts are located, or which technique works best to find something.

      we’re currently working on an invention in fact which will help improve the quality of information that police can get from road side drug testing.

      I Like Marks answer though, I think that often you get your best ideas for a new piece of equipment because of a need you have when out on a case.
