yes, I still harbour dreams of ‘making it’! I realise that this isnt realistic, but I still love running fast, Im still pretty good for the limited amount of training that I do these days – hopefully I can get really fit this summer, lower my 10km road times and do a few track races, then who knows?
I take my inspiration from a guy afew years ago, who decided at 30 that he’d stop drinking and smoking and get fit. he made his debut for GB in the marathon at 40!
