  Thanks for your questions this morning.
  
  I am not sure that my research will directly affect the health of others, perhaps other than somehow make a small contribution to road safety. My daily role of collision investigation not infrequently does this, by initiating changes in road layout, building of pedestrian barriers and such like.

  Not directly unless you count the work some of my researchers do in fire investigation which is more based around fire safety
