      Good morning Bones,

I heard about this through a friend and it seemed a really good way of showing science students that their lesson material really is important, has meaning and is useful in the outside world. I am less a scientist and more someone who would want to be, even though I use science all the time in my job. I am lucky to be in a group with four very good scientists and I am very grateful. Really, I’m A Scientist is a good way to deliver experience of the scientific world into the classroom, to hopefully inspire budding scientists, like you, to look further into science as a career choice.

I am really impressed with the set-up, the enthusiasm of the pupils and staff and the great spectrum of questions being asked. I have certainly learnt more than I have answered, to which I thank my other ‘zone-mates’.

Hello bones, you are one curious cookie, I like that about you!

Personally speaking, I wanted to engage with you young budding scientists and hopefully enthuse you about science. Also hopefully a few of you may become the scientists of the future and replace me!

      Hi Bones

You ask a lot of questions but thats a good thing !! It’s been a great opportunity to talk to young people such as yourself and see what your views are about getting involved in science and in particular our types of science.

      Hi

I love communicating real science to young people, in whatever format, be that lecturing, demonstrations, chats etc. Probably because I wish I had these opportunities as a child, knowing that it would have made choosing a career much simpler!
