Hello Amber,
Pigs are a similar size to humans, especially organs, their fat:tissue ratios are the same and similar skin/hair type. They do decompose quicker than us actually as they have less preservatives in their diet!

So How does that help you to find out more about detecting human graves?

Because I test my equipment over the simulated burials using the pigs, and find out which techique works best to find them and if they change over time. I then feed that information into wither cases that i am doing other other searchersd are doing, so they have a better chance at finding them.
