      Hello bones!

We have had over 300 set questions in our Zone as well as the numerous asked in the live chats so they are difficult to remember. I must admit you are famous in our zone for asking lots of technical and interesting questions. Some of your scenario questions were interesting which certainly caused some serious thinking on my part!

I remember bradistan asking how important our jobs were from 1-10 which caused some interesting answers! The Colchester Group were also really bright and asked intelligent questions about physics, crashes and suchlike.

Kat’s entomology subject has provoked the most interest overall and I would say entomology would be one of the subjects most students have engaged with.

      Hi Bones,

This possibly your most challenging one yet. Such a spectrum of really good questions makes my choice very difficult. These aren’t necessarily the questions that I feel I have answered well, or best, but the ones that I considered conveyed the ethos of this event.

It would be from the following:

‘Do we apply science to life, or life to science?’ – rallyson13

‘Evaluate the reasons why scientists encourage the younger population to aspire into science, such as this very website?’ – you!

‘How do you tell the speed of a car in a traffic collision?’ – callumjames

‘Explain how disproving your theory could make you a better scientist?’ – you!

‘How would you promote your job in forensic science to interested students?’ – you, I think.

‘How do you get in to a forensic science job once you have studied?’ – jennykuht123

I hope that this answers your question to a degree. You have asked so many really challenging, but good, informed questions, it is difficult not to choose more of yours. However, I have not taken regard of the author of a question, merely its content.

      Thank you.

      Mark.
