      hello Bones,

I was forwarded an email that went out asking for scientists to be involved, if they so wanted. I thought ‘that looks interesting’ and responded with a one sentence job description that was required and made the final five!

      Hello Bones,

I heard about it through a retired colleague of mine, who is now a management consultant. In turn, when I mentioned it to academics and scientists, it seemed to me that I was one of the few people out here who didn’t know about it. What a brilliant project to reach out to budding scientists though.

      Mark

      Hi

I am a STEM (Science, technology and engineering and maths) Ambassador, meaning I volunteer my time to talk to and inspire students about science – this is how I heard about this.

And no I did not need to be encouraged – I would have loved to take part in this, so thought it would be good to as a scientist now. Especially as it still allows me to sit at my PC and get some work done!

      Hi Bones

I was very happy to get involved.. no persuasion needed. The only concern was that I would be very busy in work to be able to get to the chat sessions… but I hope its worked out ok so far
