      Hello bones,

A few episodes do cover geophysical detection, but usually they find what they are looking for almost immediately and a skeleton appears suddenly on the data screen! Either of which isnt realistic! It is good to raise the profile though.

Time team is much more accurate for me, although again the time they take to do everything (2 days!) isnt that realistic.

Sometimes, on a programme, I may see a forensic method, such as a blood presumptive test, or exam, using luminol, which I use. Usually they are not using it as I was taught. The results always seem to take a split second on the television, whereas in real life they usually take much longer.

      HI bones

not really I’m afraid. Some of the techniques are accurate but the speed and interpretation is nuts

      Hi

I dont watch CSI, but I do watch Bones when I get the time. And yes, I like seeing insects and being able to identify them. Its the same in documentaries – hence why its annoying when TV gets it wrong!
