Question: Do you do any work to help the fire brigade give advice on fire safety?

Hiya

yes I and other fire investigators will work with the fire brigades to help improve fire safety. Part of the work involved in fire investigation is to work out how buildings or other materials react to a fire. This lets us then work with the fire brigade in providing good advice to the public on safety. I’ve also done a lot of training in fire scene investigation for the fire brigades to help them learn how to investigate fires effectively. N
