  yes absolutely . A good question. I carry out case work in drug analysis, fire scene investigation and in cases relating to terrorism. Its very important to have field experience particularly in scene investigation and much of your skills are developed by doing the job with experienced investigators. I also give evidence in court as an expert witness.
