• Question: Do any clues ever leave you going in the wrong direction? e.g you think youve found something but it was actually something else?

      Hi Katijupp,

Not really, because I use a ‘grounded theory’ approach, where I look at the evidence and see what it tells me and which way it points me.

My investigations look to one by one eliminate the possible causation factors of a collision, so I am safeguarded against going in the wrong direction, as my findings are that, having eliminated all the other considerd possible causes, the collision is narrowed down to one or two reasons, which I cannot eliminate. A process of elimination.

Thank you for a good question,
      Mark.
