      Hello annabel,

Not at all, I wanted to be a full-time athlete when I was growing up, but liked science, stuck at it and got into forensic in the last 5 years or so.

Hi annabe – not always. When I left school I wanted to be a geologist of archeologist but I’m very content with what I do now

      Hi Annabell,

Since joining the police, I have had a lean toward traffic matters and collision investigation, but it takes a few years to work toward the Traffic Department and finally onto collision investigation. The more collisions that I went to, on Traffic, the more that I wanted to know and the more I wanted to investigate them to the extent that I do now. I love my job – science and practical applications of it.

      Thanks.
      Mark.

      Hi

No. Initially I wanted to be a Vet, until my rabbit got fly strike (maggots ate it from the inside out), then I thought I couldnt cope with animals dying, and HATED maggots! I then thought about being an accountant, but realised how boring it could be. I used to watch forensic documentaries, and thought they were really interesting, so followed this path instead. It also felt to me like instead of saving lives (but also possibly not being able to), I could be helping people get justice after death instead.
